Definition & Function
-Definition: A German standard swing check valve is a swing check valve designed and manufactured in accordance with German Industrial Standards (DIN standards) and European Standards (EN standards).
-Function: Prevents medium backflow in pipelines, avoids reverse rotation of pumps and their driving motors, prevents medium discharge from containers, and can be used in auxiliary system pipelines where pressure may exceed the main system pressure.
Working Principle
Relies on the force generated by the flow of the medium itself in the pipeline to automatically open and close. When the medium flows forward, the medium pressure pushes the valve disc, making it rotate around the rotating shaft to open, allowing the medium to pass smoothly. When the medium stops flowing or flows backward, the valve disc closes under gravity and reverse medium pressure to block backflow.
