Introduction

A Single Ball Threaded Air Release Valve is a mechanical device designed to automatically discharge accumulated air from liquid-filled pipelines. It features a threaded connection (e.g., NPT, BSPT) for easy installation and a single floating ball mechanism that triggers valve opening/closing based on the presence of air or liquid. This type of valve is widely used in water supply systems, HVAC networks, and industrial pipelines to maintain efficient flow, prevent cavitation, and reduce pump energy consumption.

Structural Features & Working Principle
• Air Release Phase: When air accumulates in the pipeline, it rises to the valve's upper chamber, reducing liquid pressure on the floating ball. The ball drops, opening the orifice to discharge air rapidly.

• Sealing Phase: Once air is expelled and liquid fills the chamber, the ball floats upward, pressing against the seat to shut off the outlet and prevent water leakage.

• Continuous Venting: For  (micro-air release), some models include a small orifice to allow gradual escape of tiny air bubbles without liquid loss.
