Russian standard gate valves are usually suitable for working conditions where frequent opening and closing are not required and the gate remains fully open or fully closed. Not suitable for use as regulation or throttling. For high-speed flowing media, when the gate is partially open, it can cause vibration of the gate, and the vibration may damage the sealing surfaces of the gate and the valve seat. Throttling will cause the gate to be eroded by the medium.
