Introduction

Working Principle

1. Opening Phase:When water flows from the inlet, it passes through the micro-filter and needle valve into the main valve's control chamber, then drains to the downstream via the ball valve. Since the needle valve's opening is smaller than the ball valve's, the control chamber's pressure drops, allowing the main valve disc to open and supply water to the downstream.

2. Closing Phase:When the water supply stops and backflow occurs, part of the backflow enters the control chamber through the ball valve. Due to the check valve's blocking effect, the control chamber's pressure gradually increases, causing the main valve disc to close slowly. This slow closure mitigates water hammer impacts.
