American standard forged steel globe valves control the flow of media by moving the valve disc along the center line of the valve seat. When the valve is opened, the medium can flow through the valve body. As the valve disc moves down, it gradually closes the passage, reducing the flow of the medium until it is completely shut off. This design allows for precise control of the flow rate and is suitable for applications that require accurate flow regulation.

Working Pressure and Temperature Range 

Forged steel globe valves are applicable to small - diameter pipelines with a working pressure ranging from Class 150 to 2500. Carbon steel forged globe valves can operate within a temperature range of - 29℃ to 425℃, while stainless steel forged globe valves can work in a temperature range of - 29℃ to 500℃.
