Specification
Structure: It is mainly composed of a cast iron valve body, a brass valve stem, and a valve disc (or gate). The valve stem is connected to the valve disc, and rotating the stem drives the disc to move vertically along the axis of the pipeline. For some medium and large-diameter valves, a wedge-type elastic gate structure is adopted, and rolling bearings are installed.
Working Principle:
Opening the Valve: When rotating the operating device to lift the valve stem, the gate is raised, gradually opening the medium channel. When the gate reaches the top position, the medium can flow unobstructed in the pipeline.
Closing the Valve: When rotating the operating device to lower the valve stem, the gate descends gradually until it closely fits with the valve seat, achieving sealing and cutting off the medium flow. During this process, the sealing surface of the gate is pressed against the valve seat by medium pressure or external force to ensure tight sealing.

Smooth and Labor-Saving Operation: The wedge-type elastic gate structure can automatically compensate for wear and deformation of the sealing surface. Rolling bearings installed in medium and large-diameter valves reduce friction, making the opening and closing process more effortless and operation labor-saving.
Wide Application Range: By reasonably selecting packing, gaskets, etc., the valve is suitable for various media such as water, steam, oil, acids, acetic acid, strongly oxidizing media, and urea, and can operate under different pressure and temperature conditions.
