Advantages  

• Good Sealing Performance: The sealing surface is overlay - welded with Co - based hard alloy, which has excellent wear - resistance, corrosion - resistance and anti - friction properties, resulting in a long service life. The double - bellows sealing design (bellows + packing) ensures zero leakage of the valve stem, complies with international sealing standards, avoids fluid loss, and improves the safety of factory equipment.

• Structural and Technological Advantages: The structure is relatively simple, with good manufacturability, facilitating maintenance. The friction force between the valve disc and the valve body sealing surface is small, so it is wear - resistant. The opening height is generally only 1/4 of the diameter of the valve seat passage, and the stroke is short.

• Wide Application Range: There are various driving methods to choose from, such as manual, gear - driven, electric, and pneumatic. It can be applied to a variety of media and is suitable for numerous industries including petrochemical, chemical fiber textile, plastic paper - making, power and steel industries, as well as pipelines with media such as water, steam, oil products, nitric acid, and acetic acid. It has a relatively wide applicable temperature range, generally able to work in an environment of about - 20℃ - 450℃.

• High Cost - performance Ratio: The cost of cast iron material is relatively low, and it has a good cost - performance ratio when certain usage requirements are met.  

Disadvantages 

 • High Flow Resistance: When the fluid passes through the valve, due to the structure of the valve disc and other reasons, a relatively large resistance will be generated, which affects the circulation efficiency of the medium and increases energy consumption.

• Limited Regulating Performance: It is usually more suitable for fully - open or fully - closed working conditions and is generally not used for fine - tuning the flow rate (although it can be customized in some cases).
